There are three must have items we use every time we travel with our dog Sammy. These items make our adventures easier, and more comfortable for him.
#1 Must Have Dog Item for Travel is the Pet Gear Stroller
This stroller is our number one must have. It allows our dog a safe and secure place to rest when he is tired. He is getting old, so this stroller becomes vital when we want to keep moving and he does not.
The panoramic view window allows us to close it while indoors or in highly public places. This protects him from being able to jump out, and keeps others from reaching in an touching him. Even though he is not aggressive, we do not want him to be startled.
Other features of the stroller we like are the built in leash, the removable pad that we can take out and wash, the basket to hold his essentials, and the cup holders. The brake lock is easy to operate, and makes for easy locking and unlocking of the stroller.

Our second most important item we bring is a collapsible bowl so we he can eat and drink as needed. These are easy to wash and can be stored in a small space. They also have clips so we can throw them in a bag, or just clip them to our backpacks or belt loops.
#3 Poop Bags

So those are the three must have dog items we always use when traveling. However, at the end of the day of whatever adventures we have, Sammy must have a soft and comfortable place to lay his head.
